Sy Smith is coming strong with the release of her album “Fast and Curious.”  With all instruments and production by Mark de Clive-Lowe, you know it has a  funky dance groove to it. 

I am feeling her cover of Teena’s classic “Lovergirl”.  She did a great job!  And she rocks Billy Ocean’s “Nights (Feel Like Gettin’ Down)” featuring Rahsaan Patterson.  And “Messages from the Stars” doesn’t disappoint with its synth groove.  This is my favorite jam on the album.  Be ready to get your groove on with this album!
