Freedom Friday: The 1st Weekend in August Edition

Hello Good Folks!

Ha!  I know this Freedom Friday’s title lacks a bit, but I am running on creative fumes.  This week, I have been volunteering at a day camp.  It has been an awesome experience. When you get an opportunity, please volunteer with youth.  You don’t know how much it makes a difference in a youth’s life.  I know we are busy, but try to put it in your schedule.  You will not regret it.  I will be posting about my experience so stay tuned! 🙂

In the meantime in between time, let’s enjoy some great events during this great weather.  Before we know it, summer will be over.

I will catch ya’ll on the other side of the weekend!

Peace and Blessings ya’ll!

Do you miss the ’90s? I know I do. From Gangstarr to Snoop Doggy Dogg to BBD to Mary J. Blige, the 90s were a time of good music, good vibes, and most importantly songs dedicated to Gin & Juice, a staple of any good house party.  Come party to the hard boom-bap of NYC, smooth sounds of the West Coast g-funk, andpimpnificence of the South are on full display and provided by DC’s own Supa Qool DJ Quartermaine on the 1s and 2s.
