While munching on hors d’oeuvre and sipping on the evening’s signature cocktail, “The Philanthropolitian”, guests shared their causes from assisting Hurricane Katrina survivors to supporting relief efforts in Haiti.  Guests also learned about opportunities to volunteer with various organizations.  As a thank you to guests, The Cotillion Online offered invitations to their exclusive 1st Annual Young & Philanthropic Gala coming in 2011. The Cotillion Online founder and publisher Pamela Pressley said it will be the premiere gala for DC area philanthropists.  This event aligns with her motto that “charitable giving is fashionable.”  I am looking forward to the event!
