For the Midweek Mixx, I am always on the look-out for some great music.  So I came across this THUMPING remixx of Al Green’s “Simply Beautiful”. 

This song doesn’t have a lot of words to it (the song is only 4 minutes long), so he gets right to the point. (You got to be good to me/ I’m gonna be good to you/ There’s a whole lot of things you and I could do)  

However, the song is most powerful when Green moans, riffs, ad-libs and wails.  He packs  in a whole lotta of soul and emotion…it’s just “Simply Beautiful”.
