DMV fashionistas gathered to network, share their knowledge about the fashion industry, and of course shop at the 2nd Annual Go Glam & Get Gorgeous.  The two-day event, hosted by the Glamourholics, kicked off at the National Harbor’s Ketchup with a VIP Insider Industry Chat with fashion expert, Daisy Lewellyn.  A Howard graduate, Daisy Lewellyn has worked at top fashion publications such as Glamour, InStyle and as the accessories editor at Essence.  Dubbed the “Queen of Effortless Chic”, Daisy spoke to attendees about how to break into the fashion industry and succeed.    She also talked about how every woman should reach the pinnacle of their own personal style.  She has written about her style philosophy in her book, “Never Pay Retail Again: Shop Smart, Spend Less, Look Your Best Ever“.   The event continued on Saturday with a Holiday Shopping Soiree at ALoft Hotel.  Guests were pampered, shopped and had a style session with Daisy.
