Hello Good People!
I want to take this moment to say “Happy Birthday” to my wonderful husband. He doesn’t like much fanfare and the spotlight, so I will keep it sweet and short. I just want to let him know that he means the world to me, and I am so happy to celebrate this special day with him, especially as his wife! 
So happy birthday to my hubby and here’s to a great weekend!

ThatKellieGirl was invited to a viewing of “Fly” closing out this weekend at the Ford Theater. Based upon the experiences of the Tuskegee Airmen, “Fly” is the powerful story of four African-American military pioneers who proved themselves as officers and pilots during World War II.

When you get a chance, check out the documentary, The Lottery. It is great film about four families who enter their children in a charter school lottery. It turns into a great debate about education reform.
The movie was playing at the Avalon Theater. *Sorry I found out about the movie last minute :-(* However, I think it is worthwhile to either purchase a copy or put it on your Netflix list.
